Gallery wall arrangements seem to be all the rage. For Christmas, I gave my mom an assortment of black and white framed photographs (you can see the set of photos at Flickr). Since Christmas, we’ve been trying to work out where and how to hang the photos – four 5×7 frames and three 8x 10 frames.
Yesterday, I came up with a plan to easily play with, arrange and rearrange the frames. I simply cut out small templates of each frame size, wrote the orientation of the pictures on the templates and went to town. We photographed each arrangement so we could remember them.
Once we had a number of arrangements photographed, we found it difficult to look through them and pick our favorites. Using PhotoShop Elements, I arranged all of the difference possibilities so we could see them all at one time. Here they are, for your reference (and ours).
